Pero hay un grupo que me despierta especial interés: The Twilight Singers. La banda de Greg Dulli lleva sin sacar disco desde 2006, pero tiene temazos como esta declaración de amor. Es una versión de la canción de Massive Attack. En esta cover la voz tan personal la pone Mark Lanegan. Dado que es una banda tan voluble (los músicos cambian disco a disco y gira a gira a excepción de Dulli), no sé si mañana podré escuchar esta canción. Por si acaso, la dejo aquí .

Y no se me ha ocurrido mejor canción para celebrar este día que Enjoy the silencio, porque espero que todos/as disfrutéis de Silencio como yo lo hago escribiéndolo. Pero como los autores originales ya se habían pasado por aquí, me he decantado por una voz desconocida pero mucho más sensual. Una sueca que se hace llamar Sue Ellen y que se dedica a hacer versiones de canciones míticas de los 80.

Que pasen muchos más años, en silencio o con la mejor música. La banda sonora de mi vida se sigue escribiendo.

Un gran grupo que se separó en 1991 y que tiene su parcelita en la vía láctea del rock. Interesante narración de los pensamientos de un asesino en serie que apareció en el álbum Talking Heads: 77 (1977), con el estribillo en francés.
