Te traigo una recomendación de un grupo de Pamplona que se llama Kerobia y una canción espectacular (ese comienzo de piano) que se llama “Isburt”. Suenan a Coldplay en euskera. Tienen una maqueta y tres discos en el mercado. Este tema, “Isburt“, es el primer corte de su segundo disco “Rose Scargot” (2006).

El álbum homónimo tiene un buen puñado de grandes canciones. No se puede decir lo mismo de su último disco (The Fray, 2009), del que apenas se ha oído nada. Cómo salvar una vida es emotiva. La letra de la canción, como siempre, acompaña mi día a día. Hace poco sentía en mis carnes la peor sensación que existe: la decepción. El cabreo se me suele pasar rápido. La decepción es algo que persiste, que cambia las cosas. Me decían que la culpa era mía, por confiar en quien no se lo merecía. Gracias a last.fm, que sabe de muy buena tinta que me encanta el britpop, conocí a Embrace (no confundir con la banda americana del mismo nombre). Y como también sabe que mi grupo favorito es Coldplay, me recomendó este Gravity, canción que fue compuesta por Chris Martin para Embrace allá por el 2002 y que luego fue versionada por ellos mismos en el DVD “Talk”. ¿Con cuál os quedáis vosotros? Yo lo tengo claro, pero es que no soy nada objetiva… Por cierto, el inicio de piano me pone la piel de gallina.
