Sin embargo, sus dos componentes son perros viejos: James Mercer (guitarrista y voz de The Shins) y Brian Burton (tambi\u00e9n conocido como Danger Mouse y 1\/2 de Gnarls Barkley). El 14 de diciembre del a\u00f1o pasado la banda, en un alarde de frikismo, mand\u00f3 por correo electr\u00f3nico un mensaje en c\u00f3digo binario con el siguiente texto \u00ab<em>The High Road is hard to find<\/em>\u00bb y un enlace a su p\u00e1gina web. El 21 de diciembre lanzaron su single de debut \u00abThe High Road\u00bb y lo pusieron a disposici\u00f3n de sus fans para su descarga gratuita.<\/p>\n<p>El principio de la canci\u00f3n despista un poco, pero luego, con las guitarras, gana cuerpo.
