\"eagles\"Canci\u00f3n m\u00edtica mitiqu\u00edsima la que nos trae hoy Julen<\/a>. No os perd\u00e1is el repaso que hace a la letra, analizando casi estrofa por estrofa (\u00a1gracias Julen!):<\/p>\n

Hotel California<\/b> es una canci\u00f3n de los Eagles<\/a> del \u00e1lbum del mismo nombre que vio la luz en 1977. Su tem\u00e1tica, 31 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s es plenamente vigente. Mucho se ha comentado sobre lo que verdaderamente quiere decir la letra de esta canci\u00f3n, su ambig\u00fcedad permite m\u00faltiples interpretaciones pero los autores de la canci\u00f3n confirmaron que sus versos nos hablan del exceso y el materialismo, es de hecho una alegor\u00eda sobre el hedonismo y la autodestrucci\u00f3n. Se eligi\u00f3 la palabra California por ser el microcosmos perfecto donde se daban estas circunstancias, pero es perfectamente extrapolable al resto del EE.UU y el mundo.<\/p>\n

Si seguimos la letra, nos vamos dando cuenta que cada vez se hace m\u00e1s oscura y perturbadora, as\u00ed el protagonista llega un lugar que bien puede ser el cielo o el infierno (this could be heaven or this could be hell<\/i>) y se encuentra con una mujer que vive en el lujo (her mind is Tiffany twisted<\/i>, por los diamentes) o (she got a Mercedes Benz<\/i>). <\/p>\n

Ella misma confirma m\u00e1s adelante todos son prisioneros de su propio ansia materialista\/ego\u00edsta (we are all just prisioners here of our own device<\/i>) y la que probablemente es su l\u00ednea m\u00e1s famosa (you can checkout any time you like but you can never leave<\/i>), que nos habla de lo dif\u00edcil que es salir de esa espiral: \u00abpodr\u00e1s desapuntarte cuando quieras pero nunca podr\u00e1s irte\u00bb. Como curiosidad la cita House en uno de los cap\u00edtulos de la cuarta temporada.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de tener much\u00edsimo mensaje, la melod\u00eda, la guitarra del inicio\/final son toda una demostraci\u00f3n de virtuosismo. A m\u00ed que nunca he tocado una cuerda de guitarra me dan ganas de coger una y \u00abdestrozar\u00bb los acordes.<\/p>\n

Como \u00faltima cosilla si alguien me dice a qu\u00e9 se refiere con la palabra \u00abcolitas\u00bb (es castellano), que Lorena le de triple tanto de palabra. (Y no vale \u00abpreguntar\u00bb a Google).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
