Tarde de domingo. Casi estamos llegando a la etapa invernal y apetece estar tumbada en el sofá (últimamente no descanso ni los fines de semana… ). Y qué mejor que acompañar el descanso con un mito de la música country, por desgracia ya fallecido: Johnny Cash. Y esta cover de los Nine Inch Nails (1994) que tan bien versionó Johnny en el 2002. Ver el vídeo dirigido por Mark Romanek te hace casi llorar. Se nota que fue un adiós por adelantado del artista, que por aquel entonces ya estaba gravemente enfermo.
Me recuerda mucho a mi abuelo y cómo entristecía cada vez que algún amigo fallecía. Yo no le tengo miedo a la muerte. Bueno, mejor dicho, no le tengo miedo a MI muerte. Porque todo se acabará y listo. Sin embargo, saber que alguien querido te dejará, es lo peor que te puede pasar. Y tener una cuenta atrás es muy duro. Recapitular lo que se ha hecho hasta entonces también es duro. Hace daño.
