Marlango – It’s All Right

Cuando comenzó la moda de actrices, modelos y demás farándula probando suerte como cantantes, me puse a temblar. De repente empezaron a sacar discos Victoria Abril, Scarlett Johansson, Bimba Bosé, … Pero ante Leonor Watling tengo que quitarme el sombrero. Merece todo mi respeto tanto en el mundo del cine como en el de la música. Y su proyecto junto a Alejandro Pelayo y Óscar Ybarra es arriesgado: copar una rama musical que no se prodiga mucho por estos lares: el jazz y blues. Su música parece recién salida de una película de Bogart en blanco y negro.

Sin embargo, hoy me voy a decantar por una canción más desenfadada, It’s All Right, de su disco debut homónimo (me encanta el videoclip dirigido por Isabel Coixet). Fue un gran acierto por parte de la discográfica Subterfuge, que este mismo año ha celebrado su 20º aniversario. Mis felicitaciones desde aquí 🙂
