No sé si podríamos meter a esta artista neerlandesa dentro del grupo One Hit Band, porque pegó el pelotazo con esta canción en su primer álbum Together Alone (1997) y poco más se supo. Sacó varios discos más, pero desde 2007 no ha publicado nada (se comentaba que para finales de 2008 podríamos disfrutar de un álbum de blues, pero por ahora su último trabajo es un directo en Gelredome).
En cuanto a la canción, habla de cómo el exceso de independencia te puede aislar del resto del mundo. Cuando no puedes comprometerte ni cambiar tus costumbres para ajustarlas a otras personas, te conviertes en eso: Nobody’s Wife.
