Athlete – Wires

Letra:

You got wires, going in
You got wires, coming out of your skin
You got tears, making tracks
I got tears, that are scared of the facts

Running, down corridors through, automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
I see hope is here, in a plastic box
I’ve seen christmas lights, reflect in your eyes

You got wires, going in
You got wires, coming out of your skin
There’s dry blood, on your wrist
Your dry blood on my fingertip

Running, down corridoors through, automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
First night of your life, curled up on your own
Looking at you now, you would never know

I see it in your eyes, I see it in your eyes
You’ll be alright
I see it in your eyes, I see it in your eyes
You’ll be alright

Alright

Running, down corridors through, automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
I see hope is here, in a plastic box
I’ve seen christmas lights, reflect in your eyes
down corridors, through automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
First night of your life, curled up on your own
Looking at you now, you would never know.

Franz Ferdinand – Take Me Out

Escucha «Take Me Out – Franz Ferdinand»

Letra:

So if you’re lonely
You know I’m here waiting for you
I’m just a cross-hair
I’m just a shot away from you
And if you leave here
You leave me broken
shattered alive
I’m just a cross-hair
I’m just a shotten we can die
I know I won’t be leaving here
With you

I say don’t you know
You say you don’t know
I say… take me out

I say you don’t show
Don’t move time is slow
I say… take me out

I say you don’t know
You say you don’t go
I say… take me out

If I move, this could die
If eyes move this can die
I want you… to take me out

I know I won’t be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won’t be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won’t be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won’t be leaving here
With you

I say, don’t you know
You say you don’t know
I say… take me out

If I wait this could die
If I wane this could die
I want you to take me out

If I move, this could die
If eyes move this can die
Come on… Take me out

I know I won’t be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won’t be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won’t be leaving here
(With you)
I know I won’t be leaving here
With you

Coldplay – Violet Hill

Letra:

Was a long and dark December
From the rooftops I remember
There was snow
White snow

Clearly I remember
From the windows they were watching
While we froze
down below

When the future’s architectured
By a carnival of idiots on show
You’d better lie low

If you love me
Won’t you let me know?

Was a long and dark December
When the banks became cathedrals
And the fog
became God

Priests clutched onto bibles
Hollowed out to fit their rifles
And the cross was held aloft

Bury me in honor
When i’m dead and hit the ground
A love back home unfolds

If you love me
Won’t you let me know?

I don’t want to be a soldier
With the captain of some sinking ship
With snow, far below

So if you love me
Why’d you let me go?

I took my love down to violet hill
There we sat in snow
All that time she was silent still

So if you love me
Won’t you let me know?

If you love me,
Won’t you let me know?

Travis – Turn

TravisEstos escoceses me encantan. Podéis encontrar este Turn en el disco The Man Who (1999)

Letra:

I want to see what people saw
I want to feel like I felt before
I want to see the kingdom come
I want to feel forever young

I want to sing
To sing my song
I want to live in a world where I belong
I want to live
I will survive
And I believe that it won’t be very long

If we turn, turn, turn, turn, turn
If we turn, turn, turn, turn, turn
Then we might learn

So where’s the stars?
Up in the sky
And what’s the moon?
A big balloon
We’ll never know unless we grow
There’s so much world outside the door

I want to sing
To sing my song
I want to live in a world where I’ll be strong
I want to live
I will survive
And I believe that it won’t be very long
If we turn, turn, turn, turn
And if we turn, turn, turn, turn
Then we might learn
Turn, turn, turn, turn
Turn, turn, turn
And if we turn, turn, turn, turn
Then we might learn
Learn to turn

Stereophonics – Maybe Tomorrow

You Gotta Go There to Come Back (2003).

Letra:

I’ve been down and
I’m wondering why
These little black clouds
Keep walking around
With me
With me

It wastes time
And I’d rather be high
Think I’ll walk me outside
And buy a rainbow smile
But be free
They’re all free

So maybe tomorrow
I’ll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I’ll find my way home

I look around at a beautiful life
Been the upperside of down
Been the inside of out
But we breathe
We breathe

I wanna breeze and an open mind
I wanna swim in the ocean
Wanna take my time for me
All me

So maybe tomorrow
I’ll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I’ll find my way home
