Lo bueno, si breve, dos veces bueno (suelen decir…). Y esta banda lo llevó a rajatabla porque duró menos de dos años: de 1966 – 1968 (tiempo más que suficiente para publicar tres álbumes). Pero cuando se separó, dejó buenas esporas por el mundo musical: Neil Young, Jim Messina, … Y además, míticas canciones como esta For What It’s Worth, escrita como reacción a los disturbios ocurridos en un club de Sunset Strip.
Ha sido protagonista de muchas películas (Forrest Gump, Inocencia Interrumpida, …), pero el vídeo que he seleccionado hoy es el de la cabecera de El Señor de la Guerra, porque es simplemente espectacular.
